Ever since high school, I’ve held teaching & tutoring positions in mathematics and data science, always with the same goal in mind: to make STEM topics easy, engaging, and fun. I strongly believe everyone has the capabilities to excel in STEM, and just need the right accessible resources, as well as a welcoming teaching style that promotes learning, confidence, and enthusiasm. Hence, I have engaged in these positions with the hopes of steering students towards better understanding and appreciating these subjects.

Tutoring

I private tutor students in mathematics from middle school and up in topics from pre-Algebra, Algebra I/II, Geometry, Precalculus, Statistics, Calculus AB/BC, Multivariate Calculus, and Linear Algebra. I also tutor for SAT/ACT and AMC 10/12 prep. I currently hold availability on Friday evenings as well as Saturday/Sunday, and may have more times in the future. I hold sessions both in person and virtually, but please note I may have to meet virtually for students outside the general Evanston area.

My current rate is $55/hour for all subjects, with a minimum of 1 hour. Students can also meet beforehand for a free 30 min consultation to understand your background and goals and if our sessions will be a good fit.

Please also know that my schedule may shift from time to time; if planning to meet weekly, there may be occasional weeks where I may have to reschedule from our time slightly.
